What's new in v2
Genie v2 introduces three major features that our users have been asking for since day one: multi-channel deployment, persistent memory, and AI Recipes.
Multi-channel deployment means your AI assistant can now live across Telegram, Slack, Discord, and WhatsApp simultaneously. It maintains context across all channels — so a conversation started in Slack can be continued in Telegram without losing a beat.
Persistent memory that actually works
We rebuilt our memory system from the ground up. Your assistant now remembers everything across conversations: preferences, past decisions, team context, file contents. It gets smarter the more you use it.
Under the hood, we're using a hybrid approach combining vector embeddings for semantic search with structured storage for precise recall. The result is a memory system that's both fast and accurate.
AI Recipes: automation without the complexity
AI Recipes are pre-built automations that run on your schedule. Morning briefings that summarize your email and calendar. Invoice sorting that categorizes and files incoming documents. Market analysis that monitors your competitors and surfaces insights.
We're shipping with 8 recipes out of the box, and you can build your own with our visual editor — no code required.
A completely redesigned dashboard
The new dashboard gives you a single view of everything happening across your AI assistant: conversations, performance metrics, file activity, and recipe execution. It's faster, cleaner, and more information-dense.
We also added a built-in terminal for power users who prefer the command line. Deploy, configure, and manage your assistant without leaving the keyboard.
What's next
We're just getting started. Over the next few months, we'll be rolling out team workspaces, advanced analytics, custom integrations, and more. We're building Genie to be the operating system for AI assistants — and v2 is a massive step in that direction.
